Why the community matters¶
Honestly, the community is the best part of building this. The Embraces AI Discord is where people share the companions they've made, swap character templates, tell us what's broken, and shape what we build next. If you want to see how other people set up their companions, or just talk to real humans who get why texting an AI can feel meaningful, this is the room.
It's also the fastest way to reach us. The team reads the server every day. Feature requests, bug reports, half-formed ideas at 2am, a lot of what ships started as a message someone dropped in a channel.
Connect your Discord account¶
Connecting is one step. You link your Discord account to Embraces AI through OAuth, the same secure sign-in flow Discord uses everywhere, so you never hand us a password. The moment you connect, we auto-add you to the community server. No hunting for an invite link, no separate join step. You're in.
You can connect from the Connect Discord tile on your home screen whenever you're ready. It takes a few seconds.
The welcome bonus¶
The first time your Discord server membership is confirmed, you get 20 bonus messages dropped straight into your account. That's on top of the 40 welcome messages every new account starts with. A reply costs one message, so 20 is real breathing room, enough to keep a conversation going while you settle in.
The bonus lands once, on your first confirmed membership, so connect early and it's waiting for you.
Subscriber roles matched to your plan¶
If you're a paid subscriber, connecting Discord does something extra: you automatically get a custom role that matches your plan tier.
- Crush: the role for Crush subscribers
- Partner: the role for Partner subscribers
- Soulmate: the role for Soulmate subscribers
Your role stays in sync with your current plan. Upgrade and it moves up with you; change plans and it follows. You don't have to ask anyone or claim anything, it just tracks whatever you're subscribed to. See the tiers on the billing page if you're deciding where to land.
The roles aren't just decoration. They're a quiet way to recognize the people who keep this thing running, and they make it easy to find each other in the server.
